  • COLOSSAL CLUSTERFEST

IBCP had the immense pleasure to work with frequent associates at Superfly and their partners at Comedy Central on the inaugural 'Colossal Clusterfest', a comedy and music festival in San Francisco. We heledp develop the look and feel of the festival in addition to a number of unique installations and experieces, and spearheaded both the design and the implementation of these elements. This "festival done right" (as it was described by Paste, in a glowing review ) was a hit with fans and performers alike. We can't wait for next year.

  • OUTSIDE LANDS 2016

In August 2016 Iron Bloom were contracted by Superfly to create a visual installation in the Choco Studio for Bay Area mainstays Guittard Chocolate. We worked hand in hand with Guittard's marketing director Amy Guittard to create an engaging, interactive window display that told the story of the chocolates's journey "from bean to bar," and ultimately into the hands of the festival's patrons.

In addition to this new work, we were contracted to bring back the festival's Bay Area-themed mini-golf/wine tasting experience, The Back Wine, and lead it's installation at its new home on the festival grounds.

  • BONNAROO 2016

In June of 2016, Iron Bloom collaborated with renowned multimedia and stage designer Andi Watson (Radiohead, Zazie, Oasis, and more) to create visual installations in four custom shipping containers around the base of the Bonnaroo festival's fire tower.

This project was the second phase of a long-term redevelopment of the area by Mr. Watson & Superfly (a project with which William has been involved in since its inception) and included topping the structure with a 15' mirror curve (named "L.U.C.I.") and radio mast.

  • OKKERVIL RIVER "AWAY" TOUR

Iron Bloom had the pleasure of consulting on the stage design for Okkervil River's 2016 U.S. Tour (along with LED-Wizard, Mark Kleeback). Repurposing a combination found fabrics and house-lamps along with autumnal faux-foliage, our goal was to foreground the art from Okkervil's gorgeous new record, Away, and create a literal frame around the band consistent with the record's mood and themes.

The stage dressing can be seen in the video for their single "Call Yourself Renee".
