AMC Immersive Upfront 2013

On AMC’s first ever immersive Up Front, we were tasked with the design and management of the “Breaking Bad” area—a wholly immersive Meth Lab. We created the lab, designed and built effects to simulate methamphetamine production, with the result being edible rock candy for the guest to consume rather than the illicit substance. We trained performers to be able to produce the effects live and create the “drug” that resulted in a sweet treat for the audience. In addition, to the design and art direction of the event, we consulted on the areas for AMC’s other properties and the overall event, managing both the install and the operation of the show for the duration of the upfront.
